One of our client in the Food Retail Industry is looking to hire A heads of Operations.

Job Description
  • Responsible for overall business performance of the business through efficient operations, effective cost controls, inventory and profit management.
  • Achieve the overall set targets for the company by pro-actively contributing to the implementation of business strategy.
  • Increase company profitability by minimizing wastage and devising cost control measures.
  • Ensure that monthly sales targets are met and expand current income streams by developing and driving initiatives to increase sales and profits.
  • Ensure staff compliance with the company policies, standards and procedures, and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for violations of company policies, rules and procedures in line with given guidelines.  
  • Ensure compliance to food safety standards. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that all work equipment, appliances and fittings are kept clean and excellent working condition. 
  • Achieve company objectives in sales targets, food costs, service and quality, appearance of work premises, sanitation and cleanliness through continuous training of employees.
  • Arranging and organizing the roster and responsibilities for all staff by anticipated business activity, and planning adequate cover for absence to ensure the smooth running of business operations. 
  • Adequate planning and co-ordination of team members to ensure and that all orders are completed in a timely manner to meet our “customer waiting time standards”. 
  • Ensure that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, professional and courteous service at all times.
  • Ensure that all inventory received and final product meet the required quality standards. 


  •  A Bachelor’s degree in any social science field of study.
  • Minimum of 6 years proven working experience in similar role (preferably food retail industry).
  •  Problem solving attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attitude for fostering positive relationship.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Energetic and outgoing personality.
  • Must possess basic knowledge in book keeping and basic accounting
  • Must be capable of documenting and analyzing storage & stock inventory level.


Remuneration: 250,000 (Gross Salary)
