The Admin Manager is to ensure that services provided to members/guests are consistently at a high standard. He/she will organize and manage sectional activities/events in a timely and effective manner to the satisfaction of its members and the management, maintenance, and development for all areas/buildings of the section.


Job Description

  • Foster internal working relationships and collaboration with complementing sections department to deliver efficient and effective project and facility maintenance planning support services
  • Conduct regular walk-abouts, visually assessing the safe and efficient operation of the physical structure(s) of the section all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.
  • Verify completion of all routine maintenance on the section, meeting rooms, halls and external areas. Verify completion of all repairs, replacement, and renovation works throughout the section.
  • Ensure high quality delivery of service in all areas of the Sectional Activities
  • Ensure that resources available are used effectively to achieve Sectional and Club wide objectives
  • Manage the daily activities of the sections and escalate any issues providing corrective action
  • Representing the organisation effectively in its dealings with all third parties
  • Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance   and other standards are consistently met.
  • Develop a periodic Operations report on Sections overall performance – financial and otherwise
  • Ensure that all services to members and guests are conducted in a highly professional manner.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and attitude on the part of all employees in areas of  Responsibilities
  • Ensure Bars/Kitchens are well stocked for service
  • Consistent training of staff to ensure service is kept at a high standard

Experience & Desired Competences

  • University degree in Business Administration / Tourism/ Hospitality/ Recreation & Sports management.
  • A post graduate diploma/ degree or MBA would be an added advantage.
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Tourism & Hospitality or Sports recreation Management, with at least one (1) year managerial experience in Hospitality or Sports recreation Management
